Purpose Statement

  • Capture foreign payments as per client instructions and processing the Balance of Payment (BOPs) daily on Landobyte thereby ensuring efficient and effective customer service delivery
  • Verify the correctness of international payments before releasing the payments according to the Bank’s policies and procedures on the SWIFT GUI.
  • Comply with international best standards and practices, Exchange Control Regulations, Currency and Exchanges Manual for Authorised Dealers, and FICA



  • 3-5 years in Exchange Control Service Environment
  • The processing of outward payments and the application of the various FinSurv categories.


  • Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
  • A relevant Tertiary Qualification (e.g. Treasury Management, International Trade Finance Certificate) would be preferred


Min :
Knowledge and understanding of :

  • Financial payment processes and systems and the interoperability thereof
  • Working knowledge of the Exchange Control legislation and FinSurv reporting rules


  • Working knowledge of SWIFTGUI, Bancs, CDS, TrustLink, AVAYA


  • Communications Skills
  • Influencing Skills
  • Telephonic / Call skills
  • Interpersonal & Relationship management Skills
  • Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
  • Attention to Detail
